If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Yuki is a tempestuous, stubborn, young girl who has no shame in throwing a fit to get what she wants. Unfortunately for her mother, she is also part wolf, and these fits often include shape-shifting, howling, and the relative destruction of the homestead. Her mother’s seeming inability to say no to these fits has left Yuki slightly spoiled, but being that her desires are almost exclusively food and outdoor activity related, you can’t really consider her spoiled nature to be too much of a negative trait.

Her lupine genetics have made Yuki into an incredibly adventurous and outdoorsy little girl. She loves to chase other animals, pee outdoors, get dirty, and explore as much as she is allowed. She shows almost no fear, and her animal instincts seem to aid her well. She things her brother Ame is just about the saddest excuse for a wolf there is because of his timid nature, and just can’t understand why he allows the cat to bully him or why he doesn’t join her in chasing the local boars around.

Even with her loud and boisterous personality, a lifetime of being told she exists as half a secret has left Yuki tentative in her interactions with strangers. When Yuki’s family first moved into their new home, she and Ame would hide anytime a neighbour happened upon the property, away from sight, but always close enough to keep an eye and an ear on the situation. After some time though, she blossomed immensely and began to be just as energetic around them as she always had been around her mother and brother.

Background: Yuki is the product of a love affair between her mother Hana, a human, and her Father, a descendent of now-extinct Japanese wolves, who could alter his appearance to match that of either a human or a wolf. Her parents met when her mother was 19 and attending university. Her father was working as a mover, and would sneak into classes at Hana’s school to earn an unofficial education.

Yuki was born at home in the winter. Her mother decided to have her child in her home as opposed to a hospital, because she was worried about the consequences should Yuki be born as a wolf. In the spring of the following year, Yuki’s brother Ame was born. Their father disappeared that same day, and was later discovered dead in a city waterway and thrown into the trash by city workers as Hana looked on, holding her sleeping children.

Hana quit her job and used her husband's savings to raise Yuki and her brother at home. Yuki was a boisterous and stubborn child, and it proved almost more than her mother could handle to keep Yuki’s identity and that of her brother a secret. After several complaints from their neighbours, Hana decided to move her children somewhere that they could live happy and open lives.

They bought a house in the country, and began to build a life for themselves. Yuki and her brother helped their mother begin to work their new land, and Yuki began to flourish in her new wild environment. She began chasing and catching wild animals, and relished in her ability to run free in wolf form through the woods around her.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

Strengths: Yuki is part wolf, and therefore has heightened animal instincts. She also shows very little fear.
Weaknesses: Yuki is stubborn and does not always use proper forethought. She has no issues pushing the line in order to get her way, and being only six, she has not yet realized that this could prove detrimental to her safety.

Abilities: Yuki can transform into a wolf at will, and retains her ability to speak even in this form.

First Person: [Yuki is running through the woods, Ame slowly falling behind, and she is laughing.]

You’re too slow, Ame. The cat’s gonna get you again.[She laughs at her joke and puts even more speed into her run.

Before too long, Ame is no where to be seen, but Yuki keeps running. She darts up a hill, through some low hanging leaves, and leaps over a creek before finally stopping to catch her breath.

After a few moments, Ame still hasn’t caught up to her.]

Ame? Where are you? [Silence]

I know you’re slow, but you’re not that slow.

[After a moment, Yuki realizes that Ame isn't coming. She stands up and starts to walk back in the direction she came.]

Ame?[softly at first, and then more loudly.]Ame?!

[Suddenly, there is a noise behind her, and Yuki turns around.

There is a sharp sound, and a quick movement, and then blackness.]

Third Person: The soft rocking had kept Yuki in a deep sleep for quite some time, but a violent jerk around a corner finally jarred her awake. Confused and half asleep, she lifted her head to look around. It was dark, and she didn't recognize her surroundings.

"Mom?" She called out softly. When there was no reply from the bed at the other side of the room, Yuki looked harder. There was no bed, and in fact, there was no room. Yuki was laying on the floor underneath what looked like a chair. In fact, it looked as if there were several chairs all lined up like on the bus they sometimes took into town...But this wasn't the bus. No, these seats all looked older, and the bus didn't move like this.

Yuki transformed, stood up, and looked out the window. It was dark out, but she could see land as it passed by. They weren't on a road, and the fields and mountains in the distance looked nothing like where she lived. She backed away from the window, and walked slowly down the aisle.

As they reached another corner, Yuki finally saw the lead car out the windows up front. Her eyes grew wide.

"A train!" Excitement took over and Yuki dropped to all fours and ran to the front of the car. She jumped up and placed her front paws against the window. She had never been on a train like this.

Up ahead, the lights of a town began to glow in the distance. Yuki switched to the opposite side of the car, and wagged her tail as the train neared the station. As it began to pull in, Yuki noticed an open window, and jumped up into the seat below it. She stood up in human form and stuck her head out, laughing as the wind whipped through her hair.

When the train stopped and the doors opened, Yuki transformed once more and ran down the stairs. She stopped on the platform, tail wagging, and looked at the town in front of her. Yuki had no idea where she was, or why Ame and Mom weren't there, but she decided she would figure that out later. Now, she was going to explore. And with that, the tiny little wolf girl ran from the station and through the empty city streets.
